📦 GPS Shipping Policy

At Grade Prep Services (GPS), we take every measure to ensure your trading cards are packaged securely, handled with care, and shipped with discretion. This policy outlines how we handle outbound shipments, optional insurance, delivery expectations, and customer responsibilities.

🛡️ Shipping Insurance (Optional – Tier-Based Add-On)

While we do our best to protect your cards during transit, once a package has been handed off to the carrier (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx), GPS is not responsible for lost, delayed, stolen, or damaged shipments.

Most shipping carriers do not insure collectibles like trading cards under their standard policies. To better protect your shipment, we offer optional, tier-based shipping insurance through Shopify’s integration with Shipsurance.

  • Insurance is available in $500 increments, covering up to $5,000.
  • This add-on is offered during checkout in the cart — simply select the tier that best matches your package’s value.
  • Declining insurance means you accept full responsibility for any carrier-related issues.

📌 Important:

 For packages exceeding $5,000 in value, we strongly recommend purchasing private collectibles insurance.

📬 Delivery Methods & Timing

  • Carriers Used: USPS is our primary shipping provider, but we may use UPS or FedEx depending on the service level, location, or availability.
  • Tracking: All shipments include tracking, sent to your email once your order ships.
  • Signature Requirement: A signature may be required for insured or high-value packages.

GPS is not liable for delays caused by the carrier, weather events, or other factors beyond our control.

📦 Packaging Standards

Every shipment is packaged with care:

  1. Discreet, unbranded packaging
  2. Protective sleeves, secure wrapping, and cushioning
  3. Tamper-evident sealing where appropriate

We treat your cards as if they were our own.

❌ Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

If you added insurance in the cart:

  • You may file a claim in case of loss, theft, or physical damage during transit.
  • Supporting documents (e.g., photos, proof of value, tracking info) may be required.
  • GPS will assist in facilitating the claims process with Shipsurance.

If you declined insurance:

Unfortunately, we cannot offer compensation or replacements for carrier-related issues.

 

 

💲 Shipping Costs & Fees

Standard shipping fees are calculated at checkout 

Tier-based shipping insurance is available as an optional add-on in the cart, starting at $5 for coverage up to $500.

Larger shipments or international orders may incur additional shipping charges. We’ll notify you if applicable.
