📋 GPS Card Review & Handling Policy

We currently do not offer a separate “review-only” service. Please only send cards you’ve already pre-screened and are confident you’d like prepped to present as well as possible.

That said, we understand things can slip through. If we come across any cards with excessive wear, damage, or other concerns during the prep process, we may, at our discretion, contact you before proceeding.

If you choose not to proceed with prep on those cards, a $3 Review & Handling Fee per card will apply.

  • For orders paid on completion, the fee will be added to your final total.
  • For prepaid orders, the prep cost for those cards will be refunded, minus the $3 per-card fee, once your order ships.

🚚 Shipping Protection Policy

We package all shipments securely and discreetly, and we take great care in preparing your cards. However, once a package has been handed off to the shipping carrier, GPS is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage after package has been received by the carrier for shipment.

Most carriers (including USPS, UPS, and FedEx) do not fully insure collectibles like trading cards under their standard policies. To better protect your cards, we offer optional insurance at in your cart through Shopify’s partnership with Shipsurance, covering up to $5,000.

If your package exceeds this amount, we strongly recommend obtaining your own collectibles insurance policy for full coverage.

⚖️ Terms of Service

Customer agrees to fully defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grade Prep Services (GPS), and all affiliated individuals from any and all claims, losses, damages, or legal actions arising out of, or related to:

  • Customer negligence, errors, or omissions
  • Submission of cards for prep or cracking services
  • Use of GPS services or website
  • Any issues arising during third-party grading or shipping

This includes, but is not limited to, monetary loss, property damage, equitable claims, legal fees, penalties, or any other expenses resulting from services rendered.

By submitting cards, you agree not to post false claims, misleading information, or defamatory content on social media or any public platform. Violations may result in legal action.

If you request that a card be removed (“cracked”) from its current graded case, you understand this process carries risk. Grade Prep Services (GPS), employees and affiliated team members will not be held liable for any damage incurred during cracking.
